About Amports
Amports is an association that represents approximately 300 companies and government institutions in the port region around the North Sea Canal, from the IJmuiden piers to the Orange Locks and Buiten-IJ (Outer IJ). Established in 1945, Amports is responsible for collective port and transport promotion.
Activities
To further encourage a sense of solidarity, Amports organises various networking events such as the Annual Port Dinner, the Annual Port Conference and the Port Golf Tournament. Amports also functions as a regional maritime information service, providing the media with details about the North Sea Canal region.
Member services
As well as participating in the above activities, Amports assists members in individual promotional projects. Members looking to take part in an exhibition can consult Amports and request help with realisation.
HollandPorts
In a globalising world, it is increasingly important promotion-wise to cooperate with other Dutch ports and their promotional organisations. At Amports this has resulted in various jointly organised activities.
